Karim-David Adeyemi was born in Munich in January 2002 to a Nigerian father and a Romanian mother – giving him three options for international football. Adeyemi began his footballing journey at local club TSV Forstenried in 2008, where he stayed until 2010 then Bundesliga giants Bayern Munchen came calling. Adeyemi stayed two years at FCB (2010-12) but was forced to leave the club after an impasse in contract negotiations. Therefore, Adeyemi ended up at SpVgg Unterhaching FC.
After finding some comfort with SpVgg Unterhaching FC, he joined Austrian club FC Red Bull Salzburg where he signed a three-year contract.[4] He was subsequently loaned out to their feeder club FC Liefering for the season.
Giving their history of developing young talent together, Adeyemi was finally in a structured environment where he can express himself and learn. He made his senior debut with FC Liefering on 1 September 2018. Over the years of 2018-22, Adeyemi made 35 appearances with FC Liefering scoring 15 goals & 68 appearances with RB Salzburg scoring 27 goals. After standout impressive performances that was enough for BVB to sign Adeyemi in 2022. Adeyemi chose to represent Germany, playing from U16 to now seniors.
He helped them in win UEFA European Under-21 Championship: 2021. He also has a many honours already, wining Austrian Bundesliga title 3x and also Austrian cup 3x.
